Beauty and the Beast

October 14-15, 2017 – Infinite Energy Theater (Formerly Gwinnett Performing Arts Center)

Join Sugarloaf Ballet Company as they present Lori Zamzow-Wire's new full-length ballet, Beauty and the Beast. Sure to entertain the whole family, Beauty and the Beast is a wonderful performance for all ages. This age-old classic of a mystical enchantress, a timely curse, our favorite beauty, and an unfortunate beast will be told like never before.

Nutcracker Excerpts

December 6 & 7, 2017 – Infinite Energy Theater (Formerly Gwinnett Performing Arts Center)

Sugarloaf Ballet has joined the ranks of ballet companies around the world offering their adaptation of the 1892 Petipa/Tchaikovsky holiday classic Nutcracker. Sugarloaf Ballet’s Nutcracker Excerpts will entertain audiences with favorites including: Tea, Arabian, Spanish, Peppermint and Angels. Audiences will also enjoy scenes from Snow, Waltz of the Flowers, Sugar Plum, and much more! Ticket Purchase is not required.

Nativity Ballet

December 6 & 7, 2017 – Infinite Energy Theater (Formerly Gwinnett Performing Arts Center)

Experience the birth of Jesus through dance. The Sugarloaf Ballet is presenting the arrival of Christ the King. Come celebrate The Nativity Ballet, an artistic expression of the most precious gift, with your family and ours. Nativity Ballet features classical ballet, contemporary ballet and modern choreography set to inspirational and classical music.  Sugarloaf Ballet offers this performance as a gift to the public; ticket purchase is not required.

Youth Concert Series

January 27, 2018 – The Venue at Friendship Springs

Join Sugarloaf Ballet this January as they host their annual Youth Concert Series (YCS). Presenting the seasonal works of resident choreographers and guest artists, YCS offers a platform for promoting concert dance works in the Gwinnett County and surrounding communities. This promotional effort is strengthened through the participation of local studios, schools, college dance programs, and other well-respected dance companies. Youth Concert Series also offers a sneak peek into the future of dance by debuting performances choreographed by young artists, ages 13-21.

This year City Gate Dance Theater, Dance Tech and Talent, and Greater Atlanta Christian School, among others, will join Sugarloaf Ballet in the presentation of this year’s Youth Concert Series program.
